  1. Ok after being snowed in and away from work for 5 days... Are you saying that if I, for example, have a collection that I have an application already deployed, were to add a new computer. Then the previous deployment should just pick that up and add the software?
  2. Ok.. bare with me as I am still sort of new to SCCM, but application model? Please give me more info..
  3. So I have a scenario that I work at a college full of computer labs that have a basic load on all of the machine with some variations in each lab. For example while all of the labs will have MS Office not all of them have Autocad. Anyways I was wondering if there was anyway that I could use SCCM's Compliance feature to make the right software was installed in the right labs, and if a machine was missing something, then in remediation it would autoload said missing software? John
  4. I guess I should clarify... This is for Unknown computers, not known computers. I know that I could prestage the computers into a collection, but that is a lot of work when you get 200 to 300 computers new each year. So I was hoping to find a way to do this for unknowns..
  5. I work in an environment where there are different IT depts that handle different locations and what I would like to do is be able to limit the OSD task sequences that are visible at a location. Is that even possible?
