Hi, it sounds like a bug with migrated objects because i have a problem with migrated collections too. Any collections i migrated from cm07 to cm12r2 will automatically update their membership according to their old full update schedule even if i untick the box to not schedule an update at all. so changes are not being applied correctly in the background even though it looks like they are. newly created collections are ok. so you could try creating a new collection as a workaround and see if it updates changes to the clients mw's correctly? if it does, just ditch the old collections.

Hi, i set up a read only account in sql that an asset management product uses to connect and read directly from the cm12 database and i haven't seen any performance problems. microsoft system centre service manager also does the same thing for asset management using a config manager connector and this appears to be a supported configuration as microsoft provide instructions on how to set it up. just schedule to do it out of hours when nothing else is going on.

Hi, i use a slightly different query for one HP notebook model and query against the win32_computersystemproduct. with this i have to make sure the product name including ALL the preceeding or trailing spaces are there for it to work. e.g: SELECT * FROM Win32_ComputerSystemProduct where Name like '%HP G62 Notebook PC %'
