Very good information. Particularly as I am fighting with a 2019 Inspiron 3670 that has issues as all Dell products seem to contain at least one design kluge and a tech puzzle. Kluge part is 290W PSU with machine eating 250W+ running. Also as you mentioned lack of space. Part boofoo part puzzle that they figure profit from proprietary 8 pin architecture on mobo although that is simple (relatively) to solve unless it requires cutting edge of case. Puzzle is how they manage mismatching RAM in nearly all their machines. And 2 final thoughts; 1) lookit the purty colours! 2) If PSU(s) I have won't fit should I make it 'ranch art', target or rowboat anchor? Peace and out. PS: the picture below is what got me fully into 'puters' while working at Atari. It had a slide out seat, monitor and keyboard that you could sit on and slide back in...shades of TRON.
