  1. I could really use some help with the Add the CMG connection point role part. I have added the role and I get the following error. Unfortunately opening the ports on my windows firewall does not resolve the problem. My entire site (including the domain controller) is built in azure VM's and I also tried opening the ports for my NSG for the configuration manager VM but that that did not work. When I do the cname lookup on https://dnschecker.org/ I can see that server.domain.com resolves correctly to server.cloudapp.net No other problems setting the azure services or the CMG installed. Just getting stuck with Add the CMG connection point role part CM Version 2107. ERROR: Failed to build HttpV2 connection 9a65d55a-0940-4e05-9eb4-22f0ada02013 with server server.domain.COM:443. 4. I have one Task Sequence Deployed and when I boot into WIN PE I am taken through a Wizard and I have to select the Task Sequence. I do not want this Wizard, I just want to boot into PE and have it take off. Please Help
  5. I should note: I can package it, the total package size is about 6MB and the installer runs through with no errors. However, when I go look in the directory where the app should be, there is nothing there (including the directory)
  6. I am helping build a secure environment. No one can install anything and no one had admin rights on their machines. Everything is delivered via SCCM I need to package the Azure Remote App (https://www.remoteapp.windowsazure.com/ClientDownload/Windows.aspx) This application dumps files in APPDATA for the user who installed it. I need help figuring out the best way to package this application so that I can deploy it to the required users using SCCM. I have adminstudio but I can also use APP-V if that is a better idea for this APP.
  7. Hi, I am trying to install SCCM 2012 R2 with a remote SQL Server. I at the Prerequisite check before installation and I am receiving an error which is preventing me from proceeding with the installation process. "windows preinstallation environment component of the windows assessment and deployment kit for windows 8.1 is required" -I have verified that the component is installed -I have uninstalled and reinstalled it twice -I have rebooted my server Please help me resolve this error Thanks
  8. I have recently started a project doing an implementation of SCCM 2012 that will eventually grow to 100,000 clients or more. There will be three primary sites. I am looking for best practices on how to best configure this. The sites are globally distributed. I will be doing Application / Operating System Deployment as well as compliance (Updates etc). Please suggest hardware configuration, layouts etc. Thanks.
