  1. Never mind. Issue ended up been driver driver contamination on the IMAGE. Everything is all good now after recapturing the image.
  2. I'm having a hard time testing my current image with 2 new Dell systems (Optiplex 3040 and Latitude E5570). The task sequence goes through of applying the image and setting ConfigMgr client successfully. Upon first reboot it gets to about 57% then goes into BSOD while installing devices. Here is the tricky part, the deployment works successful on all my current systems without any errors. it installs fine. Can anyone shed some light as to what might be causing this issue? I'm currently using SCCM current branch. Thank you in advance.
  3. I found this link which is kind of what I was looking for. I just have to try to make some sense out it and put it to the test on my VirtualBox VM. https://sccmguy.com/2014/08/15/creating-prestaged-image-using-configuration-manager-2012-r2/
  4. Hello, I need to create a prestaged image that I will store on a hard drive for our hardware vendor to have the image already applied on the computers when they arrived to our institution. Then the process will just continue with the rest of the task sequence steps once they arrive onsite. Can someone explain or point me to a written guide on how to accomplish this? Can the prestaged image be set to expire after x amount of time? Thanks in advance.
  5. What about the Windows updates? I'm trying to create a hybrid image which will contain most software applications and Windows updates on it. I just want to help speed up the process as suppose to wait for all the Windows updates to be applied after the imaging process has completed. Thank you for your prompt reply Rocket Man.
  6. Hello, This is my first post on this site and I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm using SCCM 2012 R2 and I was able to capture a Windows 7 Enterprise image from a reference PC for testing. I then deployed that image as a task sequence to another PC. My question is, why both PCs now have the same product ID under Windows Activation? Every other PC on my institution has a different license/product ID for each system. Do I have to use the build and capture guide instead? Thanks in advance.
