There is a group policy setting that is required and have to be configured on workgroup computer for remote assistance to work . Offer Remote Assistance in Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Remote Assistance · Start command prompt as administrator · Gpedit · Enable Offer Remote Assistancen under Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Remote Assistance hope this helps
