  1. Hello. sorry for the long delay.. i have it this way in my environment,. partition disk hp bios settings restart computer pre-provision BitLocker Apply Operating System Apply Network Settings drivers for multiple HP computers Setup Windows and Config........... Enable Bitlocker AD backup (key to AD) - do not know if i need this Take TPM Ownership - do not know if i need this software and so on-- will reckon this will do or maybe the order should be changed? this is an Windows 7 deplyment.
  2. i have added the registry key for the transfering to AD, but it do not seems that the key is transfering the key to AD. i have not added anythin else but the TPM (not any keys to the user)
  3. Did manange to add the BIOS settings task right after the partition disk (had to run it as "Run Command Line" and had to mark the "Disable 64-bit file system redirection") i have also set the "Pre-Provision Bitlocker" right after (running SCCM 2012 SP1, maybe this is not suitable to Windows 7 deployment) if not,, should i have to set it manualy? (and not use the built in commands) Kind Regards
  4. Thanks, Will wait for your answer. Have it in two lines. Do i not need to set password before config of bios? Fine if you could tell where in the task sequence you got the script. (Before or after os deployment)
  5. I am using 64 bit all the way. Do you have a tutorial for how to make the package? Do you run the sequence after partition of the disk or do you have it a bittle later. Will have to investigate the deployment of bios to the HP machines.
  6. Hello. Have tryed both ways, but no luck. Maybe i am boing somethin wrong in the package. (Do you have some hints for me) I am trying to get it before adding the os to the disk. Maybe this is to early? Using it on 64 bit os, but the basic are the same. Kind regards
  7. Hello. Thanks for the reply. Will the disk be encrypted while the rest of the package is installing or will it be decrypted after os is installed and ready? You are writing Be sure to suspend your bitlocker in the remaining parts of your TS before any additional reboots. (manage-bde.exe -protectors -disable c:) What do you mean, can you explain a little further? Do you have a sceenshot of the task sequence? Sorry for my bad english Kind regards
  8. Hello. Hope there is someone that can help with bitlocker in task sequence (sccm 2012 sp1) We are about to implement bitlocker in our task sequence for laptops. We have HP laptops that we want to get bitlocker on. We are settings 2 packages/script to set bios password and enabeling TPM. but the scipts/package are failing. We have this right after disk partition, but are always failing. We are running biosconfigutility64.exe /nspwd:"password" for setting password And biosconfigutility64.exe /setconfig:config.txt for setting the TPM in bios Pre-config bitlocker Install os Install packages Install problem drivers And as the last in task sequence we are enabling bitlocker But it is failing bigtime. Does anyone know how we can get this to work? Kind Regards
  9. Do i need to have SQL server on the machine that shall host the SMS Provider?
  10. hello. thanks for the reply.. the only problem is that when i run the checks before install this problem occurs because it is pointing to the SCCM server and not the SQL server... so my question is if this is comming from the step when i where i provided the SMS Provider under the installation step.. 11. Hello. thanks for the reply, i have managed to fix muliple errors. but i have one error left. - Required SQL Server Collation this error is probably releated to the SMS Provider? (that can not be installed on the SQL Server Cluster) anyone have a solutions to this? NIGHTCD
  12. Hello.. i have successfully installed the SCCM 2012 RC2 in an test environment. but when i try to install SCCM 2012 in an production environment it fails. so my questions is follow: - Do i have to install SQL 2008 on the SCCM2012 for the SMS Provider? - How can i do an workaround to use the SQL Cluster (SQL 2008 R2 CU4)? - I get an load of errors that state the SQL server is not installed on the SCCM 2012 server even if i have spesified the SQL Cluster as database server.
