  2. And now come commands in the Switch. This is from today after trying all day yesterday to get it to work. (if it makes a difference) Switch#1# show ip igmp snooping mrouter VLAN Ports ------- ---------------------------------------- 39 g3 Switch#1# show ip igmp snooping groups Vlan IP Address Querier Ports ------ ------------------------ ------- ----------------------------------- 39 224-239.128|0.1.40 Yes g3 39 224-239.255|127.255.250 Yes e(2,30,45) 39 224-239.255|127.255.254 Yes g4 Switch#1# show ip igmp snooping interface 39 IGMP Snooping is globaly enabled IGMP Snooping is enabled on VLAN 39 IGMP host timeout is 260 sec IGMP Immediate leave is disabled. 6. Hey thanks for the reply. I am at my wits end with this one. The current setup that I am working with is with a PC3448. I also have PC3548, PC5224, PC5324, and PC5448. I can post the running configs if that helps?
  7. Just as topic says. I am trying to multicast over a Dell switched network and the multicast is flooded to all active port on the switch. I am testing on one Dell PowerConnect 3448 connecting to a Cisco 1711 router. I have a DC running 2003 R2 that is handling the DHCP, and a server 2008 for the WDS. I have connected the switch and router both as a trunk and as a switch port. Same results both ways. I have enabled Globaly Bridge Multicast Filtering, and IGMP Snooping, and then enabling snooping and autolearn on the vlan. I know this is not a WDS problem cause I am sure I had the same problems with Ghost. I have been having this problem for years now and when I have a spare moment I try another kick at the cat. ANY Help welcome. I talked to guys that said that Multicasting just works on cisco gear, but school divisions cannot afford that so I am stuck with the DELL.
  8. So before I found this site I followed a couple of videos online that I found and setup Server 2k8 with Sql2k8, SCCM 2K7 SP2 R2, with MDT2010. That was the easy part, Ha Ha. Now what do I do? Here is my current setup. I administer about 1300 machines spread over 13 locations or so, all XP. I of course want to plan a role out, but want to take baby steps. I have successfuly installed Win7 with SCCM and even pushed down a piece of software but I am Lost now. Don't know why some task take forever to start or not start at all. Here are the steps that I want to accomplish. I will number them if anyone wants to chime in on any of them. And oh yeah all I know about scripting is coping and pasting from what I find online, and zippo about databases. 1. Easy one. Just want to Capture Default Reference Machine. I have followed the guide and af course ran into problem with creating the package called AutoLogin_windows7. I asked for help in the other thread. 2. Push that captured image to domain machines keeping their names and staying in the current OU's. (Is there where I use the intergration of MDT and database to keep all comp ID's) 3. Push that captured image to bare metal machines. This one looks like it will be a fun one. 4. Last thing on my agenda is to be able to push software to different collections. Thanks Any and all comments welcome. This is a big beast to slay.
  9. K so first post. Will start with an easy question in regards to the new package called AutoLogin_windows7. So after I create the package I right click the Programs and create new program called autologin_enable and fill in the command line as deecribed, so where do I place the autologin_windows7.reg? And then I have to push it to the distribution point right? Thanks
