  1. Does this uninstall previous versions of Java like the EXE install does? I've seen reports of people having problems with the MSI installs e.g. saying it installed successfully but it actually didn't... If its re-run on the same computer it removes all files but leaves the entry in Add/Remove Programs etc... Also to note... You need to install 32bit JRE on 64bit machines as most applications that use Java are still 32bit. Cheers!
  2. Hi All, Just wondering if anybody can give me some pointers on correctly installing the right click tools from - http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/rhouchins/ I've just downloaded from there today & installed, but a bit unsure what options I should be selecting during the setup... e.g. Central vs Primary vs Workstation & When asked for Site and server details... Sofar, I have selected Workstation (as thats where I am installing it... Do i need to install on Central & Primary servers also?), and have entered details for my 'local' SCCM site server... But I'm wondering I should have entered details for the Central site server instead... Thanks!
  3. Hi All, I've just noticed an orphaned software package sitting on our downstream site. The package was deleted from our Central Primary Site about 2 months ago, but for whatever reason it hasn't been removed from the downstream primary site. As it is seen as a 'locked' package, I cannot delete this via the ConfigMgr console... Presumably I'll need to clean up the SQL DB manually? Anybody had this before & know how to fix it? Thanks!
  4. I am also getting the above error on selected computers within out environment... Did you ever get this worked out? Cheers
  5. Hi, We have recently setup SCCM in Native Mode with help of a third party contractor. I'm not sure everything is functioning/configured as it should be though. Both SCCM Reports & SQL Reporting Services have been setup, however when launching the reports from within the ConfigMgr console it launches the HTTPS site but using the NetBIOS name rather than the FQDN. This means we are prompted about a certificate error due to the name mismatch. I've had a poke around & couldn't see where to adjust the URL that Reports & Reporting Services links use... Can this be done? Thanks!
