  1. Did you have any issues with it not being detected by clients? My test machines reference it in one line of the update logs but nothing happens after that and no errors are posted.
  2. I found this https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/systemcenter/en-US/67e68789-0075-4600-b445-0ccb6bf87cae/silverlight-kb3011970-listed-as-expired Which initially seemed promising but while SCCM now recognises the updates and will deploy them, the workstations aren't picking them up etc. That is probably something I have done rather than an issue with the process. Your other option is to deploy it as an Application or Package.
  3. Unfortunately I seem to be having the same issue. I'll investigate shortly and report back if I find anything useful.
  4. Have you checked the update logs on the client or server? They may tell you where the denial is happening.
  5. Hi everyone I've been struggling with some issues recently, one I mentioned in a previous post 'Sup Bug'. The current problem I'm struggling with is that when I have created packages for the Updates e.g. Server 2008 R2, they aren't being copied to the DP. The errors I get from distmgr.log are: Failed to set share security on share \\WDS02.thingamy\SMSSIG$. Error = 5 Cannot find or create the signature share. Error occurred. Performing error cleanup prior to returning. I checked the permissions which I believe were correct. After that I deleted the folder and uninstalled the DP, restarted the server and reinstalled it with no luck. Edit: This was all working a week or so ago, I did update to SP1 Beta 1 which I have a feeling has done something unhelpful. Any ideas? Thanks
  6. I don't know if anyone else has come across this, but it's driving me mildly insane at the moment. I have created an Update Group for Windows 7 updates (post SP1) and when I go to download or deploy them the progress bar does its thing for a while and when it eventually finishes the majority of the updates have downloaded with a few exceptions. Which would be fine, if it didn't then delete all of the completed updates at the end of the process! Is this normal behaviour? The two errors I seem to get are 'Cannot find the specified file' or '12002' which I believe is due to a timeout in the download. Thanks
  7. Excellent, I will give that a shot and see what I can get going. At the moment I'm having difficulty just getting a device group to pick up updates for some reason *shrugs*. Thanks for the update though
  8. Did you ever get a fix for this? I am having problems with the SUP as well. Feel like I'm banging my head against a wall at the moment.
