system management folder missing

Question

Hello, I have been following the guide and I am stuck while trying to follow this guide: http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=490

I do not have a "system management" folder in Active Directory Users and Computer/System folder. I have selected "advanced features" under view and I see every other folder that is displayed in the guide but not "system management" I have attached a screen print to show what I have described.

I'm running Windows server 2008, SCCM R2, and Windows XP

Any hints?

hi and welcome

you can create it by doing this

Thank you for the quick reply.

Unfortunately, the system management folder is nonexistent in ADSIedit as well as the CN=DFSRGlobal Settings folder.

(I'm sure I must have missed a step somewhere.) Hmmmm

if it\s missing, then create it as per the adsiedit guide, then once permissions are correct, it will populate with info

cheers
