Windows 10 - In Place Upgrade to 1803 fails

Question

Not sure if anyone has dealt with this, issue but would like some tips.

Upgrade message is:

“Your files, apps and settings can’t be kept because you’re installing an edition of Windows that’s different than the one you’re currently using.”

Hard ware we are trying to upgrade:HP 800 EliteDesk G2

HP 800 EliteDesk G3

Software – Currently installed

Using our standard Windows 7 sp1 (English – enterprise edition software)

Software – Want to upgrade to:

Windows 10 – 1803 English Professional edition

A side from the obvious things:

                Uninstalled the Anti-Virus

                System is fully patched

Update all Drivers and system Bios

Removed questionable software (i.e. Java, and some Adobe apps)

Verified the registry location is correct.

Any articles you can point me to would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
