Enable TPM from Task Sequence

Question

Hi,

Is it possible to somehow enable the TPM security chip during OSD?

I would like to be able to deploy new out of box computers with bitlocker but I am forced now to enter the bios and manually enable the TPM chip first.

is it a Dell, if so you are lucky, you can create a package to enable/disable changes in the bios with a tool called DCCU, if its not a dell then i don't know

In WinPE you have to enable TPM support by "drvload x:\winows\inf\tpm.inf" command, then you can use "manage-bde.exe -tpm -t" to enable TPM and "manage-bde.exe -tpm -o password" to take ownership - this is for WinPE3.

For WinPE2 change "manage-bde.exe" for "cscript manage-bde.wsf", syntax remain same.

Martin
