SRS Reporting point error

Question

Hi all

Although my report point server seems to work fine, I'm able to pull reports but I keep getting this error in "Component Status", and "Site System Status"

"SMS SRS web service is not running on SRS Reporting point server "

Thanks

There's a hotfix for that, it's a known bug...

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957576

Thanks Randy. Before I try the hotfix(by the way the hotfix is for SCCM R2 and SQL 2008, I have SQL 2005 SP2), I would like to know if the SMS Reporting service point error related to the SQL 2005 Reporting services? because I haven't configured the SQL reporting service yet.

Regards

Andy,

Did you ever get an answer to your question? I am currently running SCCCM 2007 R3 with SQL 2005 SP2 and SRS 2008. Everything is working from both the ConfigMgr Admin Console and by accessing reports directly from the SRS website except that I am receiving the "SMS SRS web service is not running on SRS Reporting point server "XXXXX" 7403 error every hour.
