  1. At last I was able to find the real issue. I had to export the Distribution Point Certificate, but I had placed it in the My Documents for the user I was logged in as. When I moved it to the Sources folder that has read access to everyone, the PXE portion was able to work, and has continually worked. Now I have an issue with the task sequence running and not being able to find the Boot image, even though it has been deployed to the distribution point.
  2. Edit: The problem still exists. It works for about 5 minutes before it reverted back to its old form. There we no changes made between it working and it not working. The errors in the SMSPXE.log is different though.

  4. I cannot PXE boot my VM machine and my knowledge to troubleshoot these PXE errors is very limited. I've done quite a bit of searching, but I could come up with an issue. I can tell the machine is hitting the PXE server because the errors below show up while the computer is trying to connect. I think it might be a permission error so I made sure everyone had read access to the sources and remoteinstall folder. Here are the errors I am getting:
  5. I ran into trouble with the x64 deployment. It will not join the domain after installing Windows OS. It is identical to the x86 setup, which will join the computer to the domain, so I'm not sure what the deal is.
  6. I believe I fixed my issue. It was a DNS issues, also I believe I had updated the distribution point with the boot image before they were actually distributed. I now have everything working. This guides are amazing. Great work!
  7. Here is some screen shots after I enter the password for the task sequence wizard. You'll see some error on the 3rd picture.
  8. Here is a screen shot. Is there a way to copy the file from the computer I am trying to run the task sequence on, to another machine?
  9. Where can i find the smsts.log file? I do not see it with the Configuration Manager log files. I turned on the pxe password, and it will give me the task sequence wizard. But I'm getting this error:
  10. I'm not sure how I would know if it is getting an ip or not. I'm not seeing an the smsts.log file. I get to this screen: Then the dialog box goes away, then it reboots.
  11. I'm having an issue getting the task sequence to run. I am able to PXE boot, and the boot file loads in, but it never gets to the task sequence wizard. It will just reboot the machine. I am running RC2, and trying to PXE boot a Virtual machine.
  12. I keep getting "Access is denied" error when attempting to download software packages to the UNC path. I have been using a domain admin account for everything, shouldn't that allow me to have full control over the server which includes downloading and saving files on the server?
