Rocket Man!
You are the man! I deleted both computer objects and boom PXE booted with no hesitation. I can now move forward with resolving my orginal issue. I added your advise to our knowledge base.
Thanks again!
Good morning!
I ran a report on duplicate Mac addresses and there were two instances of the computer on the report. I recall the imaging process
working twice and also I renamed the pc both times. I appreciate your feed back and will follow your instructions when I get to work.
I'll let you know how things turned out.
Phil
I am evaluating two Lenovo laptops. A T430 and newer model T430s.
I was able to PXE boot the T430s and image it but now when I try to PXE boot I get the following errors: PXE Boot aborted. Exiting Intel Boot
The reason I decided to go back and image it again is because the drivers did no install the first time.
And the reason is because I did not create a task sequence the first time.
Actions taken: Restarted the WDS service on sccm server and attempted to PXE boot again. The laptop did not PXE boot
I imported the network adapter driver and added to the boot image(x64) and still same issue the laptop won't reboot. When I tried to reimage the other T430 it does PXE boot with no problem. Lets look at the diff between the two
They both use the same driver pack
The second T430 still has the factory OS in tact as I just opened it.
