  5. Got this working!! I had to use the variable by it self instead of typing the whole LDAP thing.
  6. I am trying to join a testing VM to the domain but its not working!! I have %OSDDomainOUName% that chooses the OU for the machine based on Gateway and I have the "ITX-Solution" in place its a webservice that let you AutoName your machine and creates in AD in the already specified variable %OSDDomainOUName%. All this is working fine but its ending up not joining the domain. I am using the %OSDDomainOUName% variable in the Apply network setting in the Domain OU filed: "LDAP://OU=%OSDDomainOUName%,OU=Computers-Managed,OU=Machines,DC=test,DC=com"
  7. Got it. Does it have any effects if i already installed 1 other MP on a remote site??
  8. I am setting up 3 remote sites, I already installed a DP and a state migration point role on every site. Is installing the Management Point role also a best practice ? Or is it only more management ? Should I install any other role??
  9. No I didnt try the KMDF 1.11, and I have the drivers on the SCCM Server with F8 enabeled. I managed to solve the issue with excluding the drivers that were the reason of failure. These drivers were the Intel Management and the HP Data Protection. I added the drivers as application. I know this is a work around and isnt a solution but it does the job. I think the best way to go is to install the KMDF 1.11. I will give it a try when I have time and update... Thanks for your replies!!!
  10. I did try the apply driver package but its giving me the error "windows could not configure one or more system components. to install windows restart..I am trying to apply the drivers 1 by 1 to point out which driver is causing the failure.... This procedure is taking forever!!!!
  11. I am trying to deploy win7 enterprise x32 and x64 bit they both give the same error "windows could not configure one or more system components. to install windows restart.." after applying device settings and the 1st restart. This only happens after i Injected the HP EliteBook 840 G1 drivers. I tried everything and just dont work. If I catogrize the drivers and use the auto Apply drivers it wont take the USB, Network and the Intel Managment. All it takes is the Audio and the Video. Any Ideas that might help will be great.
