  3. I have the same problem but only when deploying windows 10. I have the same TS as windows 7 just a copy of it and than I changed the Windows Image to Windows 10. It installs the app successfully but never moves to the second in the list. I have to force boot the machine to get out of the TS.
  4. I am trying to add DaRT 10 to my imaging process to manage remote machines being imaged. I have mdt 2013 integration. Installed DaRT added it to the mdt image added the service to the settings.ini made that image as my boot image and updated distro but still cant get the remote console to appear during the image process. I followed exactly what this link said. http://nt-guys.com/sccm-dart-for-remote-connections-during-winpe/ Am I missing something? Do I need to add any step in the TS?
  5. No, I am not using HTAs. I was thinking maybe through the MDT Setting ini file.
  6. Is there a way that I could create a variable that refers to the logged in user in SCCM TS here is an example where I want to use it
  7. I am trying to run a powershell script during a task sequence, which is supposed to give me a popup window on client desktops. If i run the powershell script outside the TS it works fine and inside a TS it hangs and never ends and the popup never shows up. I attached an image that illustrates. Any ideas ? am I missing something?? Thanks,

  13. Hey guys, I keep on getting this error "Could not read registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Components\SMS_EXECUTIVE\Yield Configuration" on computer xxxxxx. The operating system reported error 2: The system cannot find the file specified. " Message ID 578. Not sure where to start or what log could help me identify the issue. Thanks
  14. No it was quick before. I don't recall doing any changes except stopping the machine from joining the domain. The size is a normal driver size package between 500 and 800 MB and it takes about 45-1 hr to download. The smsts.log shows no error and the CAS.log shows that its downloading from the local DP.
  15. Hey, Lately I started experiencing a slow download speed in OSD. I managed to fix the slowness for the wim download with KB2905002 hotfix, but downloading drivers is still very slow. Any Ideas or suggestions ??
  16. What do you mean by the run mode ? Can you explain please.
  17. I am trying to check in my OSD TS if SCCM client exits or if this machine is already in SCCM and place it in a TS Variable. If that variable is true than dont change the name of the machine if its false than change it. I know SCCM does that by default, but I am using a webservice to rename machines during OSD so that wont work for me. I need to add the above condition to the renaming step so if the machine exist just ignore renaming and keep the old name. Any Ideas?
  18. Yes, I am running it old school. What I meant is that I have a vbscript that I am trying to deploy through SCCM to a specific collection. When this script runs it maps shared network drives to specific users. When I deploy this with an available mode and I fo to software center and install it, it works, but if I choose to run it as required it never runs!
  19. I am trying to run a vbscript that maps network drives to my user collection. It works fine when I advertise it as an available deployment, but when i try to deploy it as required it never kicks off!! Am I missing something here? Can SCCM launch that vbscript automatically on clients machine ? What log should I look at to verify the deployments? THANKS FOR THE HELP
