  1. Do the clients show a self-signed certificate on the General tab of Configuration Manager properties? I had a similar problem recently and it was because the client was stuck in provisioning mode. http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/5618-damaged-client-after-setup-no-self-singed-cert/
  2. If there are failed deployments that I have since remediated but they stay in the In Progress or Error view then the monitoring workspace is effectively no longer up to date. I have found that if I delete the system from the console and then repair the client it removes all deployments and then re-registers the system in the console. That cleans up the monitoring workspace but I lose all deployment history which isn't ideal.
  3. The hash for SCEPINSTALL.EXE doesn't match the one on the server so the install falls over. Try deleting the c:\windows\ccmsetup folder on the test client and kicking off the client install again. If it fails again the Scepinstall.exe on the server might be corrupt.
  4. Check HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\svcVersion on one of the affected computers. It may have been set higher than the actual IE version to trick something that needs a higher IE version into installing or running. If it starts with 10. or 11. you might have to set it back to 9. to make it uncompliant so that the update will work.
  5. Hello Everyone, I use the monitoring workspace in SCCM 2012 R2 to monitor deployment statuses and I have quite a few old deployments stuck in IN PROGRESS or ERROR. The problem clients have since been dealt with but I would like to clean out these deployment statuses to make it easier to monitor. Are there any tools that will allow me to do this or does it need to be done in the SQL Database directly? I would like to have the choice between marking the deployment as Successful or deleting it altogether. Thankyou Alastair
