  1. There is a bit of a learning curve, but it's all pretty easy in the end and there are various blog posts about it that help. We have it configured and it doesn't need much time on a day-to-day basis. One other thing to consider is SCUPSYNC. It's a good way to auto import the updates and can be scheduled to run every night. There isn't much info about it around but it's pretty simple to do once you have the SCUP service running.
  2. Have a look to see if those updates include various languages. If they do, redownload the updates selecting the languages that are included and hopefully it should work.
  3. Try it without the ""%~dp0" variable. You shouldn't need this in the TS, just the script file itself.
  4. Hi Bob, We have gone through this exact problem. It seems to happen with any of the drivers that dell supply, both the specific driver and the driver in the SCCM pack that Dell supply. The way I got around it is to download the driver from the Intel site and use that. Make sure that you have removed all other NIC drivers from the boot image then add the drivers from Intel (you will need to extract the drivers from the .EXE download). Then make sure that the DP's are updated.
  5. Ok, that's not really what I wanted to hear but thanks for the reply.
  6. Is anyone else getting a problem when trying to add a root CA certificate? When we go to Site Management -> [site Server Name] -> Right Click, Properties -> Site Mode -> Specify Root CA Certificates, we get an error saying : An error occured in ConfigMgr. The ConfigMgr console will continue to function, however you should save your work and restart the console. After restarting the console, verify that your last configurations have been applied. Details >>>> System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: startIndex cannot be larger than length of string. Parameter name: startIndex at System.String.InternalSubStringWithChecks(Int32 startIndex, Int32 length, Boolean fAlwaysCopy) at Microsoft.ConfigurationManagement.AdminConsole.SiteHierarchy.RootCACertificatesDialog.RootCACertificatesDialog_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at Microsoft.ConfigurationManagement.AdminConsole.SmsDialogBase.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnCreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ContainerControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) It seems to happen on both the client and the server, both logged in as admin. It was working before today but I have been changing out certs to debug a problem with OS deployment. I removed the cert that was in there, so it doesn't have one at the moment, and now I can't get back in to re-assign it. Has anyone seen this or does anyone have any ideas?
