  1. We have a DHCP server and secondary sites that are not DHCP. We are trying to deploy a OS to one of the secondary sites using a OSD boot disk. When you boot up the WINPE information needs a static ip address, dns and wins entered. We hit enter and it automatically fails, is there a way to have non DHCP sites use the static ip address information?
  2. We have set up a secondary site, I was wanting to know is there a way to only deploy a OSD Task Sequence jobs to that secondary so that they would only see the jobs they need and not every OSD task sequence job.

  4. I have a batch file that will add local administrator account along with password, also sets the account to never expire. I have a SCCM 2012 OSD task sequence job setup, how do I add this batch file step to my existing task sequence. I know it it will be a command line but where do I put the step to apply it in TS?
  5. This method probably would be okay if we had SCCM DHCP server which we do not. I am using task sequence created boot disc only to build the computer with a captured image. We are not advertising the task to any collection.
  6. We have a SCCM 2007,R2 server that is not DHCP. I have captured the image of a Windows 7 computer that I will be applying to new computers as a bare metal installation. The problem I am having now after I have setup a task sequence to install on new computer is getting the TS to prompt for computer name. I am using a bootable media I created of the TS for installing the computer, I have tried differents scripts out there on the internet for command line enry and none of those work. I have tried entering task sequence variable "OSDComputerName" with value blank and that is not working. My install runs all the way to end but it is skipping the options to prompt for computer name. Is there something different you need to do on a non DHCP SCCM server?
