  1. Hi, I tested this script on my Dell 7370 and now it detects the USB-C_to_Ethernet adapter without any issues ! Great...-.thanks
  2. So this methode with a WinPE registry hack will run before the wpeinit ???? I have an issue wit deploying a Dell (E7370) without a NIC and which i boot using a Dell USB3 to Ethernet dongle..... The problem is that the dongle is not recognized during startup :-( I am wondering if I can do a devcon /rescan action which will rescan the hardware and maybe then it will work again.... I know that when I plug in the adapter when the starting WinPE and the "starting windows" message is appear, the hardware is detected and installation can be initiated through SCCM.... So i hope that a retrigger of the hardware devices (same as putting in USB3-Ethernet dongle) before wpeinit will help me out on this one... Any idea ?
  3. Update: I did have the same issue. Exactly the same :-( But......I was using USB2 stick in E7470 USB3 port. Guess what..after using a USB3 stick the problem disappear. So: use an USB3 stick and the problems are solved !!!!
  4. If you have such a script which solved the issue I really am interested....
  5. Hi, I am deploying such a script from SCCM 2012 on my Windows 10 machine. That is not working either and i also get the message: ****failed to get the linked token information. It may not be available. Error 1312 Did you already got a solution ? Any help appreciated.
  6. Is there some working overview somewhere ? I need it for: sccm 2012 sp1, windows 7, hp, dell, Lenovo and (if possible) pre-provisioning enabled in task sequence.
  7. Hi, I do have the same issue in SCCM. My clients do get popups when opening Software Center that Silverlight is out-of-date. But from SCCM I can't provide the updates :-(
  8. HI UserInterface, I have the same problem on my HP 840. Are you able to solve it and how ?
  9. Thanks for the hint......i had similar problems and assigned my client to the primary site and immediately the software updates were processing fine. So i think i do have some issue with my secondary as well.....will remove is, reinstall it en then change the boundary back to assign my secondary..... Thanx !
  10. I have the same issue with my SCCM 2012 SP1 CU3 environment....... Any update already on this or maybe we can shore some information about this issue....log files etc? I invetigate my WindowsUpdate.log file and it seems that sugin the Sofwtare UPdates pahse files are going to be obtained from Microsoft and not from my DP ...very strange...
  11. Today i again removed SUP and WSUS, rebooted server and installed WSUS 3.0 SP2 and patches and installed SUP again. I created a Software Update Group and assigned some ( about 6 updates) to it and create a deployment for my OSD_Reference collection. I add my Virtual reference computer to the OSD_Reference collection as well and start a Build&Capture of Windows 7 x64. When i checked the WindowsUpdate.log file i refers that files are being downloaded from au.windowsupdate.microsoft.com...strange...why ? Files needs to be downloaded from my http://primaryserver:8530 location....why this not happened. When i assign packages during the TS B&C they will be installed normally.....so what i going on....i can't get software updates during the B&C to start working..... The task sequence execution engine failed executing the action (Install Software Updates) in the group (Install Updates) with the error code 2278557443 Action output: ... uccessfully submitted event to the Status Agent. End TS policy evaluation Policy evaluation initiated GetIPriviledgedInstallInterface successful Refreshing Updates spInstall->RefreshTargetedUpdates( spCallback, &bAlreadyCompleted ), HRESULT=87d00703 (e:\nts_sccm_release\sms\client\osdeployment\installswupdate\installswupdate.cpp,481) RefreshTargetedUpdates(spInstall, spCallback, bAlreadyCompleted), HRESULT=87d00703 (e:\nts_sccm_release\sms\client\osdeployment\installswupdate\installswupdate.cpp,1312) RefreshUpdates(), HRESULT=87d00703 (e:\nts_sccm_release\sms\client\osdeployment\installswupdate\installswupdate.cpp,923) Failed to RefreshUpdates, hr=0x87d00703 InstallUpdates(pInstallUpdate, tType, sJobID, sActiveRequestHandle), HRESULT=87d00703 (e:\nts_sccm_release\sms\client\osdeployment\installswupdate\main.cpp,248) Setting TSEnv variable SMSTSInstallUpdateJobGUID= Process(pInstallUpdate, tType), HRESULT=87d00703 (e:\nts_sccm_release\sms\client\osdeployment\installswupdate\main.cpp,304). 12. Yes all is true. The B&C task does see the update, but when trying to download I get the error mentioned above, that the file can't be downloaded. I was thinking of a firewall blocking ? But packages are installed normally during B&C. Or does de download uses another port ???
  13. Yes all packages are deploying normally. I only see this when deploying software updates during the Build and Capture phase.....which is not working currently.
  14. I am doing that but i found out that my build and capture tries to download an update from http://fqdn_wsus_server:8530/Content/CE/E0C816A683326F69E8DF8178889F555ACBB051CE.cab. But when i checked my wsus content folder that file is not there..is that correct ? I did reinstall of the SUP and WSUS but still the problem comes back. I found it strange what is going wrong here....
