Microsoft has released an update to update Windows 8 and Windows 2012 R2 to support KMS host for later versions of Windows such as the soon to be released Windows 10. You can read about the update here

Important Do not install a language pack after you install this update. Otherwise, the language-specific changes in the update will not be applied, and you will have to reinstall the update. For more information, see Add language packs to Windows.
