XP install from WDS fails

Question

All:

having an issue with my WDS install. I followed the instructions on this site for setting up, capturing and deploying images and they were the most comprehesive I had found. The only issue I am running in to is that once I have deployed the image to a pc, after the re-boot it says that "windows could not start because of a computer hardware configuration problem".. what am I doing wrong?? from the instuctions about deploying the image, I do NOT get step 6 as an option.. "Highlight drive/Partition and click next to continue" it just starts to install. I am testing on a Dell Optiplex GX520.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

as it's XP, its most likely related to your HAL or storage

so checkout the SATA settings in the bios and change them to ATA (compatible)

cheers
