files open on a network share ?

If you have an application that runs from a network share, then updating the executable may be difficult if it is in use already.

To find out if the file is in use try elevated command prompt and type:

Openfiles /Query

to see what files are open, then use one of the options under

Openfiles /Disconnect /?

to close the connections.
