Missing Actions / Tabs - SCCM 2007 R2

Question

Hi everyone

This forum is great and very useful

We are just about to roll out Windows 7 SP1 using the SCCM 2007 R2 OSD Task Sequence

I have been deploying pc's sucessfully for the last week but over the pass day i have noticed the Configuration Manager within the Windows 7 Control Panel is only showning 4 tabs:

General, Components, Actions, Advanced

But before their were 6 (General, Components, Actions, Advanced, Updates, Configuration)

Also the Actions tab is only showing:

Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle

User Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle

Below shows this:

I have tried to discover on the advanced tab and this finds the site code fine

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Rich.

and if you initiate a Machine policy (on the actions tab) what happens when you refresh the actions tab a few minutes later, does it populate with all the missing actions

Thanks for your quick reply

No it didn't just stayed the same!

What i did try today is deleting the computer out of SCCM and building again - this time all 6 tabs displayed and a lot more actions appeared

Is it right then when i want to rebuild a computer i have to delete it from SCCM first? as this could be annoying as i plan to deploy software to computers using collections this way if the pc was to be rebuilt they would just install the packages assigned by the collections.

Thanks

Rich.
