Hi,
I have upgraded Windows 7 and 8.1 systems to Windows 10 Ver 1803 using Feature update and Upgrade task sequence, an upgrade was successful but the client build version is not updating in Console. tried multiple options to resolve the issue but still no luck.
1) ran task scheduler manually and restarted smsagent service. 2) deleted ccmeval.xml and restarted smsagent service.
when I reinstall the client then the OS Build version is updating properly. -were in this solution will not be carried to resolve the issue when we use Windows 10 Servicing to upgrade the upcoming build versions.
Hi Admin,
Sorry for the delay in response, as per the below post when i remove the product key from TS the TS is getting executed without any issues, thanks to you for the help.

Hi Team,
Today i have downloaded new Windows 10 (1607) build Iso image from Volume license and created a new TS.
during the TS i am getting error msg saying that,
"Windows could not parse or process the unattend answer file for pass [specialize]. The settings specified in the answer file cannot be applied. The error was detected while processing settings for omponent [Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup]".
i have not customized the task sequence.
i have gone through the logs but i couldn't find any issues over there and i tried manual installation using same iso file and it is installing without any issues.

Sant
