  1. All, I am trying to report on what machines might have a vulnerable chrome extension for Webex. These are stored in the user's profile in app data. I have created a config item and baseline trying %userprofile% but am having no luck. Any direction would be great if you know how I might gather this information for different users on different machines in my environment. Thanks! Rob
  2. Anyone have a solid solution to the BSOD issue after an upgraded Win10 machine enters sleep mode? I have seen this sporadically on several machines after upgrading. I have found that removing and reinstalling updated video drivers works for most but not all. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks, RK
  3. Thanks Apexes, I checked that. It shows only configuration manager clients under deployment settings. I have found that it shows up under installation status and shows an option to install but when you click install nothing happens, like the install button is not functioning.
  4. I am working on a Windows 10 pilot and trying to make a deployment available for users until a certain date. At that specific date I would like the task sequence to forcefully install. I have attached a pic of my current settings. It expires and forcefully installs but it does not allow the user to install prior at their convenience. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks, RK
  5. Figured it out. The CU2 install errored out on the console install on this particular server. I was able to reinstall and it corrected the console version number.
  6. Hello all. I performed the SP1 upgrade on my 2012 R2 CAS environment this past weekend. I've got a couple of secondary sites that I am working through issues with but found something strange this morning. On my CAS and 3 of my primaries I'm showing the following: 2012 R2 SP1 Console Version 5.0.8239.1302 Site Version 5.00.8239.1000 One my fourth primary I'm showing 2012 Configuration Manager SP2 Console version 5.0.8239.1000 Site Version: 5.00.8239.1000 I took over this role after the previous admin left the company. I assumed they were all R2 but never checked. What steps would I take to put the fourth primary on R2? Will I see immediate issues as is? Thanks for any advice! -Rob
  7. Hi all, I'm stumped by a collection I need to make. I jumped into an SCCM role and unfortunately I do not control the AD structure. I need to create a collection of all of the companies workstations under an AD OU Workstations. The caveat is that under that OU is a sub OU for production machines that I do not want in this collection. I have a query created collection and am pulling all of the Workstations OU and I also have a collection of the sub OU. Can anyone advise me on the syntax to create a new collection with the proper exclusion? Here is an example of what I am trying but haven't gotten correct yet: select SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name,SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client from SMS_R_System where SMS_R_System.SystemOUName = "DOMAIN.NET/WORKSTATIONS/WORKSTATIONS (SP2 REQUIRED)" not in "DOMAIN.NET/WORKSTATIONS/WORKSTATIONS (SP2 REQUIRED)/PRODUCTIONS" I appreciate any guidance! Thanks, Rob
  8. Thanks Garrett, it looks like it may be something to do with the WDS service. I removed and then added the role to the server and am waiting on my local resource to test. Thanks, Rob
  9. Hello, I am new to SCCM and attempting to troubleshoot a PXE issue at one of my secondary sites. I am set up with SCCM 2012 R2, I have looked at WDS and roles in SCCM as well as PXE and everything looks correct when comparing to a working site. I was wondering if anyone could give me guidance on what I might have missed. All settings in DHCP seem to be identical to working sites as well. I just took this role and am learning as I go but I have no idea how long it has been since PXE has not been working for this site. Any help is appreciated.Below is a portion of the SMSPXE.log file. reply has no message header marker SMSPXE 10/26/2015 1:49:27 PM 3924 (0x0F54) PXE::MP_LookupDevice failed; 0x80004005 SMSPXE 10/26/2015 1:49:27 PM 3924 (0x0F54) reply has no message header marker SMSPXE 10/26/2015 1:49:27 PM 3924 (0x0F54) Failed to send status message (80004005) SMSPXE 10/26/2015 1:49:27 PM 3924 (0x0F54) Failed to send the status message SMSPXE 10/26/2015 1:49:27 PM 3924 (0x0F54) PXE::MP_ReportStatus failed; 0x80004005 SMSPXE 10/26/2015 1:49:27 PM 3924 (0x0F54) PXE Provider failed to process message.
