shahil Posted September 16, 2011 Report post Posted September 16, 2011 Im wondering how to create an image of a windows 7 computer, so i can deploy it from my server if something goes wrong with that pc. I dont want to use sysprep b/c it removes all of the serial codes. im not sure if .vhd can be deployed through the network (.vhd comes when you use the create system img through Win7). Im not sure on how to create an image making the img file come out as a .wim file extension. what i want to do is create a .wim file and deploy from windows server 2008 r2.
