Powershell Front End for OSD

Question

I have seen articles using vbs or javascript to create a hta for use as an sccm osd frontend. I am wondering if I could use a powershell gui made using Powershell Studio? I was not sure if it is possible to access the environment variables from this or if it is how you would do this? Thanks in advance for any information.

with WinPE 4 and the WADK you could use HTA's with powershell scripts as you can include powershell support as an optional component in the boot image,

so yes, you should be able to create a HTA that has a powershell script as the backend.. i just havn't tried it yet
