  1. Hi, I'm struggling to find a definative answer to a question. Is it possible to rebuild a machine via an OSD task sequence within SCCM 2012 R2? Is SCCM working correctly in that if I have previously built a machine via a task sequence, then try to rebuild that machine it does not see that same task sequence and therefore will not be able to be rebuilt? I have a sequence deployed to all unknown computers. The 1st time it builds fine, if I then try to rebuild, it will not see the task sequence. I am assuming as it's no longer an unknown computer. Part of the sequence places the compute
  2. Everyone, I have an SCCM Server that is currently running in VMware, but we're moving all our environment over to Hyper-V. We have moved everything over by using the Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter Tool, and so far have had 0 issues. It scares me to mess with my SCCM server, but we're going to have to get it over to Hyper-V one way or another. My question to you all, do we convert and move or back-up and rebuild? My environment is very basic. Single site, and one server (the one being moved) that houses all roles (site server/database/reporting/management point/etc). This i
  3. Hi All, I am quite new to SCCM, but I'm slowing getting to grips with it. I am just wondering if there is way to add a PC to a collection and it then rebuild automatically. So far i have created a collection and deployed a TS to it as required. But i still have to PXE boot the PC for it to rebuild. IS there a way where it will PXE boot itself? For example if i open software store and tell it to re install the OS, it knows to PXE and start up in PE. Thanks, Craig.
