  1. Hello, I've recently been given the task to oversee our SCCM 2012 R2 environment when the previous admin went off on leave. I have very little experience with SCCM but I had some device management experience. I've encountered a few problems. The one I'd like to discuss today, is that I do not know how to handle our Dell Venue 11 Pro 5130 and Venue 10 Pro 5055. They are tablets that have 64 bit architecture but can only run 32-bit Windows. If they are known devices there aren't any problems they pull the correct wim and the correct available Task Sequences appear, however when the dev
  2. So, I have about 2200 actual PC's that I manage, however it shows about 3500 "all systems" PC's with around 1300 Showing "All Systems - No Client". 98% of these PC's are not ping-able and show no host found in my RCT Recast tools add-on under ping collection. There are no records in AD for these, as well as DNS. As far as I can tell, I have little to none duplicate GUIDS after running every query under the sun. Has anyone seen such a thing? My discovery is set to only discover PC's that have been logged into within 30 days, same with parameters for the automatic aged removal. DN
  3. Hi Guys! I'm wondering if someone could help me with a really frustrating issue I'm having with SCCM. I'll give you a quick of overview of the environment. - The Laptop we're using is brand new out of the box "HP Elitebook 755 G2" - We are trying to build a 64bit Windows 7 image on the Laptop and then Capture that image to use for the 20+ HP Books we have. - The Task Sequences have already been created and used on other machines so I'm fairly sure it will work once we get the drivers packaged into the TS.

  6. Were are using SCCM 2012. Our school district has over 4000 computers we reimage every summer. Our collections are setup per building and computer type. One major issue we have with SCCM is reimaging laptop computers after they have had a OSD successfully completed. We feel part of the reason laptop computers give us such grief is when you look at the properties of the laptops data record, it shows the wireless MAC address not the wired which you need for PXE. We start to reimage and then all of a sudden, PXE stops working for specific models. We have spent weeks if not months trying to
