  1. My screenshot shows you the properties of the DP So you must Create a Boundary Group -> Assign Boundaries to this Group -> Add Boundary Group to DP (my Screenshot)
  2. Have you checked the system managment folder in the Active Directory? I had the Problem with SCCM 2007 and i had to delete the Entry for the old server manually
  3. Have you configured the boundaries? I had the same problem and solved it by adding a distribution point to the boundary group. (Administration -> Distribution Points -> YOUR DP -> Properties -> Boundary Groups). It must look like this
  4. Hi Guys, i have another special problem with our OSD Tasksequencens. In my test environment i have 2 Clients (1 physical, 1 virtual) and there in the sccm console (with Client = Yes). 5. This logs says nothing, but last friday i found an error message on the server, which says that the sccm cant connect to the machine wmi. I checked this and i only connect to the machine wmi with the hostname and not with the ip adresse. I removed the SCCM Client from the Tasksequence and installed the machine againagaint... and then i can connect to the machine wmi with the ip. I think this isn't normal because when i install the sccm after the task sequence, it works fine and the client appears in the sccm console. Have someone a solution for this problem?
  6. Hi, i have installed the SCCM Client to our test machines (with the sccm console) and the installation works fine (ccmsetup.log shows no error). But i got the problem that the sccm console says that von this machine the sccm client isnt installed (waited about 12 Hours) and i dont know why. In Addition the problem appears too when i install the sccm client with a osd tasksequence. In both cases the SCCM Client is installed on the machine, but i only have 2 actions availabe (machine & user policy retrieval...) and i have no idea why this happend. Have someone an idea? Regards, dani3l
  7. is there a possibility to get the old name from sccm if i want to reinstall a computer? In SCCM 2007 this script works fine http://14rocks.blogspot.de/2011/04/sccm-osd-prompt-for-computer-name.html But in SCCM 2012 i only get name like minint-ABC123... have you an idea?
  8. Hi everyone, i try the sccm 2012 rc and have a problem with the software updates. I have selected do discover (i hope its the right word) new updates for office 2007/2012 and windows 7 and in the end i only want to have updates for office 2010 and windows 7. So i tryed to delete the office 2007 updates but there is no delete button in the sccm console. I found the updates in WIM under Root\SMS\site_XXX -> SMS_SoftwareUpdate but i dont know how i can delete them. Have you a idea? Regards, dani3l
  9. Hi Guys, i tried to build a sccm infrastructure with a cas, a primary site and a sql server. For the installation of the CAS i had to modify the sql tcp/ip settings (set the port to 1433). Now my Problem/my question: is this a variable port? Can i change it? Because i want use the sql server for both sql instances (cas & primary site). Regards
  10. Have you tried to add a "Run Command Line" Step befor the Partition step?
  11. You can try to remove the "Restart Computer" Step after "Apply Network Settings". The logfile says that there is a problem after the restart. I hope you unterstand my english^^
  12. Maybe this line make problems : <cpi:offlineImage cpi:source="wim:c:/stuff/old%20desktop/hbmexe-win7entx86_3.wim#1" xmlns:cpi="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:cpi" /> I dont know why you must define a source for the wim... but if thats correct then why you use a local path?
  13. But you have a running operating system on the machine?
  14. You can make a new tasksequence and delete all the steps you didnt want... that should work The Steps you need are "Apply Windows Settings" and "Apply Network Settings"
  15. I had the same Problem with a script and i solve it by changeing the tasksequencve like this. Before the change: OSD Step -> Conifg Mgr Client -> Script with Domain Acc With the solution: OSD Step -> Restart -> Config Mgr Client -> Script with Domain Acc The Restart Step solved the problem for me... maybe this helps you
