  1. Do I have it "Always rerun program"? Also, how often does it try to rerun?
  2. Sorry to post on such an old thread but I'm once again working on this but this time with SCCM 2012. How do you configure the TS to rerun every X minutes?
  3. The only thing that I see that looks out of place is: "2012-09-26 02:04:24:176 884 458 Report CWERReporter finishing event handling. (00000000)" I'll attach the entire file though in case I'm missing something.
  4. Yeah, but I'm not exactly sure what to look for. The computers and servers having issues are still applying definition updates for SCEP...
  5. So does anyone know of a better site to post this on?
  6. There is a long history between the IT departments but to answer the question, they are grown men (and women) but they don't act like it when it comes to working together.
  7. I have one secondary server that keep failing to copy/update some packages. When I check the Content Status, it says it has an error on the server. The error is: "Despooler failed to merge delta to the compressed package. "HOL00026". Possible cause: The destination drive is full. Solution: Make more space available on that drive. Despooler will attempt to merge the delta again during its next retry interval." The server has two drives, both of which have 30GB of free space on them. The package is less than 1GB in size. Why would this be erroring out? How do I fix it?
  8. I now have it showing up in Software Center, but the updates keep saying they are "Downloading (0% complete)". I checked and it says the updates are distributed to the distribution point that it should be using. Any ideas how to fix this?
  9. Does SCCM 2012 need IE installed? We are removing IE from our servers (security reasons) but I want to make sure SCCM will function correctly before I remove it.
  10. There is a lot of tension between the two groups and neither group wants the other to be "in charge" of SCCM so they both want primary servers.
  11. Thanks. Is there a good place or book to learn how to create reports with Report Builder?
  12. Is it possible to report on OS counts based on a specific collection? I know there is a report that has a count of different OSes for the whole environment but I need to limit it to a collection. I found a site that shows how to do it in 2007 but I can't get it working in 2012.
  13. When I built my 2012 environment, I used a primary server with secondary servers underneath. I didn't use a CAS. Now it looks like I have to add a CAS to the mix. I know I can't just add one and will have to rebuild everything. How hard is it to rebuild it? With a CAS, can the primary sites be manage separately? I have 1 domain but two sets of IT departments, neither of which like to 'play' with each other. Can it be made that each sets of IT departments can have their own SCEP policies, software installation policies, SCUP policies, etc and not see/edit the other IT departments policies?
  14. I've deployed some updates to my test servers. One is located at my primary site but the others are all located at secondary sites. In SCCM, if I look under Monitoring > Distribution Status > Content Status, it says all of my SCCM servers have the package containing the updates. My clients at the secondary sites say "Software changes are required by your IT department" but when I tell them to "View Required Software" they pop up with a box that says "Required software changes have been made on this computer. Changes required by your IT department have been made. You can view the completed changes in Software Center." My client at my primary site shows the updates and lets me install them. Why wouldn't my clients at the secondary sites not do this?
  15. A lot of my secondary sites have the following error on them. Source: SMS Server Component: SMS_CLIENT_CONFIG_MANAGER Severity: Error Message ID: 620 Process ID: 1888 Thread ID: 2064 Description: Microsoft SQL Server reported SQL message 2812, severity 16: [42000][2812][Microsoft] [sql Server]Could not find stored procedure 'sp_CP_CheckNewAssignedMachine'. A few of those site don't seem to be updating packages. What does this error mean and how do I fix it?
  16. They are clients working from home or remote locations across the public internet.
  17. I'm thinking of putting a SCCM server in our DMZ so that I can manage our remote clients but I'm not totally clear on the process. First off, is this the recommended way? I'm guessing I'll have a secondary site in the DMZ that points to my primary site, correct? What firewall ports need to be opened up to allow the SCCM server in the DMZ to talk to the SCCM in the local LAN? How do I configure it so that it manages only clients on the internet/WAN? Will this allow me to deploy Window's updates, SCEP definitions and applications to my remote clients?
  18. I did that. Installation failed though. How do I force it to try again?
