  1. I have using a modified version of Anyweb's CM12 UEFI Bitlocker Frontend HTA to include some software options, region, language and OU. Is there a way to display a page at the end that shows what options were selected along with some other TS OSD values?
  2. I had to redo WSUS and SUP on my SCCM server. It shows that my updates are downloaded even though none of them are. How do I fix this? Is there a utility I have to run?
  3. Can I upgrade SQL to 2014 if I upgrade the server to 2012R2?
  4. I can't get it to sync and it keeps eating my processor.
  5. I think SCCM and WSUS aren't playing nice. I would like to change so that my server install is fresh, the name conforms to our new standard and I want to move to a new version of SQL. The computer name isn't a big deal though.
  6. I currently have SCCM 2012R2 installed on Server2008R2. It has local SQL 2008R2 with a bunch of roles (Reporting services, asset intelligence, software update, endpoint protection, application catalog, distribution point, component server, site database, management point, site system and site server). The SCCM server has about 20 remote distribution points hanging off of it. How do I move the server to 2012R2? Would I need to reinstall the distribution points?
  7. How would I do it with the database since I can only have one database? We want to do it because it will help the Help Desk know where a computer is located and computers rarely move from one city to another.
  8. Can this be set up so that it displays the selected values on a confirmation page?
  9. Would it be able to do multiple naming schemes and base it on the OU selected during the HTA?
  10. I was afraid of that. There isn't a way to store names in a database and have it pick the next available or anything? Is there any tutorial I can look at to script it?
  11. Towards the end, after I install software but before I install all the updates.
  12. I'm trying to automatically add computers to AD groups during OSD. I followed Jorgen's tutorial (http://ccmexec.com/2010/08/adding-computer-to-ad-groups-during-deployment/) but can't get it working. The TS keeps failing and I get " <![LOG[::LogonUser(sUserAccountName, sUserDomainName, sUserPassword, LOGON32_LOGON_INTERACTIVE, LOGON32_PROVIDER_DEFAULT, &hUserToken), HRESULT=8007052e" in my log file. How do I get this to work? Should I use a different method to add computers to groups?
  13. I have 15 different offices. Can I have OSD automatically name computers differently for each office (based on OU or something)? I want the naming to be sequential per location and automatic. Is this possible? For example: Detroit Det-pc001 Det-pc002 Det-pc003 etc Chicago Chi-pc001 Chi-pc002 Chi-pc003 etc Is this possible to do?
  14. Thanks. Do I need to do anything special to run a batch script in my task sequence or can I just make a package that runs it and run that package?
  15. I am having a strange issue I hope someone can help me with. I have a package created for Office 2013 Pro with SP1. When I deploy it as part of a collection (not during OSD) it activates automatically. If I add it as part of an OSD task sequence and apply the available Windows Updates, it doesn't activate. Has anyone ever seen this before?
  16. It is possible to have my primary server be 2008R2 and have distribution points that are server 2012R2? Does OSD (PXE) work on 2012R2? Are there any gotchas or anything that I need to be aware of?
  17. That is what I was afraid of. I'm trying to avoid specifying each sub-OU in case they add one on the future. I'll have to work with them and tell them that they need to manually add any new OU to SCCM.
  18. Is there a way to exclude an OU if the parent is selected? IE. I have an OU for US and under that is another OU of VDI. Can I exclude VDI while having everything else in US included?
  19. Yes. They are in a separate OU.
  20. Is there a way to block a specific subnet (or I could do OU) from discovery in SCCM? My VDI administrators don't want the VDI machines to have SCCM automatically install the client, Endpoint Protection, Windows Updates, etc and want them excluded.
  21. I have a question about application supersedence. If I create an application (App1) to supersede a different application (App2), can I still have the original application (App1) install on systems and not have it be superseded?
  22. I got it to work. I had to create a set in my TS that imports a registry key based on the default gateway.
  23. Any tips on how I would do the validation? I don't know javascript very well.
  24. Anyone to the above questions? Also, where do I change the partition label? I don't want the partition to be "OSPART" but am unsure of where to change it in the TS.
