Servicing plans not working.
By Abusby,
I followed the MS guidance, cross referenced with the guides here. (so server 2016, sql 2016, config manager latest version)
the servicing plan i created for current branch contains the newest version of Windows 10, (1703) however, the client will not install it. (version 1607)
How is best to troubleshoot why it isn't even trying to install it?
the update deployment log has only this:
DetectJob completion received for assignment ({5ae097d5-7803-46b1-8411-d471c888da5c}) Upd
Windows 10 Task Sequence UEFI partitioning driving me nuts!
By simulacra75,
Title says it all really. Disk to setup as a GPT, UEFI boot drive. Task Sequence starts, image gets laid down. TS errors out with a "system partition not set" error in smsts.log. The partitioning step sets 2 separate partitions. I've attached screenshots of the partitioning steps. Anyone have any ideas? Probably some stupid mistake on my end.
Servicing Plan deployment
By nazimb,
Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to set a servicing plan deployment to Available instead of Required, so the users can trigger it manually.
Also I'm missing the "Upgrade to Windows 10 1703" , all the upgrades available are for 1511 and 1607 ,any idea why?
SCCM1702 - Windows 10 Schedule Update list blank
By Master-VodaWagner,
Hi All,
Currently on 1702 of SCCM, when I right click my Windows 10 Enterprise OS and choose Update Schedule, the list of updates is empty even though it has downloaded the Creators Update patch.
Any thoughts?
Software Inventory File Name Type

By loon,
Hello,
In the Software inventory > Inventory these file types is it allowable to enter a file name instead of a file extension? We would like to search for ThisNamed.dll and not all *.dll's.
Thank you.
Replicate ComputerName in SCCM into ComputerName for Windows Image
By Master-VodaWagner,
Hey all,
Very new to SCCM but loved the really nice build guides on this website.
Basically I need to help in figuring out how to implement the following on New Build Laptops/Desktops/Servers etc.
We will use a CSV file to import the ComputerName, MAC Address etc for multiple devices, I have PXE booting working and can deploy Windows 10 Enterprise easily to any device and at the moment have the prompt for OSDComputerName to manually enter the details per device. How
updates not working
By Abusby,
Hi,
I've made 3 update assignments and none of them work.
1 is a group of office 2013 updates.
1 is a group of Windows 10 updates
1 is a Windows CBB servicing update.
All 3 of them on all machines will not deploy, all showing the following (completely unhelpful error)
Job error (0x80240fff) received for assignment ({ABE835FB-72F0-4139-B819-3A04322EA971}) action UpdatesDeploymentAgent 20/04/2017 08:04:08 6080 (0x17C0)
Updates will not be made available
Win 10 Servicing - Mixed messages from Microsoft!!
By PHGustavsson,
I'm REALLY confused right now.
I've think I followed the "Steps to manage updates for Windows 10" guide to the letter (https://technet.microsoft.com/itpro/windows/update/waas-deployment-rings-windows-10-updates).
I changed in two GPO's to Defer Updates. One for all clients in production, that was set to Current Branch for Business and to wait 90 days after the release of a new CBB version. The other one is for the test clients, that was set to Current Branch, and wait 30 days.
Then I
