  1. I have applied a GPO that sets a 45 minute time out and sets the screensaver. Looking at screen saver settings it all looks good. the problem is that 6 minutes later the screen times out and the screen saver comes on. To trouble shoot this I have looked at the power settings and the advanced power settings and made any changes needed to display and sleep settings. I have also regedits for the System unattended sleep timeout and Console lock display off timeout. All changes have not made a difference. At this point I am drawing a blank as to why the screensaver is still timing out at 6 minutes. Any suggestions to find an answer would be helpful.
  2. I am trying to create a report to find out what devices a user has logged onto. Can I get some help on this, please.
  3. Did a google search and found the answer here. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/core/servers/deploy/install/install-consoles
  4. Here is what is in the log. Looks like I need to get an upgraded version of the console. Error Code: Failed \r\nSystem.Management.ManagementException\r\nGeneric failure \r\n at System.Management.ManagementException.ThrowWithExtendedInfo(ManagementStatus errorCode) at System.Management.ManagementObject.InvokeMethod(String methodName, ManagementBaseObject inParameters, InvokeMethodOptions options) at Microsoft.ConfigurationManagement.ManagementProvider.WqlQueryEngine.WqlConnectionManager.ExecuteMethod(String methodClass, String methodName, Dictionary`2 methodParameters, Boolean traceParameters)\r\nManagementException details: instance of __ExtendedStatus { Description = "Please upgrade your Admin Console to newer version"; Operation = "ExecMethod"; ParameterInfo = "SMS_Identification"; ProviderName = "WinMgmt"; StatusCode = 2147749889; }; \r\n Where do I find that?
  5. Trying to install the remote console on a few computers of users that have rights for Remote desktop and operating system deployment. When ever I go and try to open the console on that user's computer it gets the message about not being able to connect to sccm server. I have no problem launching the console on my machine. Any Ideas why this is happening.
  6. So I am testing SSD drives with SCCM 1702 and have noticed that installing software like MS Office16 is failing even though the same package works correctly with a regular HDD. Is there a different package I need to use or a new way I need to create the install package for an SSD?
  7. Yes, the NAA account is setup correctly. It looks like the issue was that there was a cd in the drive and it was trying to read it. I removed the cd and it worked.
  8. So I have been on version 1702 for a few weeks now and at the start of this week, the deployments have been failing when the os is starting to be deployed. I have made no changes to the task. On Monday I was told that it failed to image a desktop. I looked at the logs and saw the 80070002 error looking more there are other errors none of them make any sense. I have double checked the Network access account nad redistributed the os package. I have even tried and built a new TS still the same results. Please help. I have attached the log file. smsts3.log Edit: I have looked at other issues like this and none of the suggestions have worked.
