No cmd (F8) in Boot Image

    dinci5
    By dinci5,
I have recently upgraded to SCCM 1606 and ADK 1607. My old custom boot image still works. It has not been updated by the upgrade process.   I then created a new Boot Image based on ADK 1607. All went well. However, the F8 key doesn't trigger Command Prompt. Enable command prompt support is enabled in the Boot Image properties. I need this to work becuase my Task Sequence is failing and I have to troubleshoot.   Anyweb?

    WSUS Conection Error

    By honestvip,
The WSUS administration console was unable to connect to the WSUS Server via the remote API.   Verify that the Update Services service, IIS and SQL are running on the server. If the problem persists, try restarting IIS, SQL, and the Update Services Service.   The WSUS administration console has encountered an unexpected error. This may be a transient error; try restarting the administration console. If this error persists,   Try removing the persisted preferences for the console by de

Task Sequence is very slow during download of updates

    By mc111,
Hi. I'm having a bit of trouble with a task sequence. Everything runs fine and quick, until 'Running Action: install Software Updates'. It seems to hang/stall at 60% for hours. I can't see anything in the logs that obvious.   I have a Primary in DomainA, and a Secondary in DomainB, and a DP off the Secondary in DomainB. The client PXE boots off the DP, seems to to do everything fine until the 'Install Software Updates' part. It does eventually complete after a few hours. As far as I can tell,

SCCM 1511 Upgrade to 1610 - Fail Prereq

    Config_Mgr_noob
    By Config_Mgr_noob,
Hello,   I recently upgraded my primary site to 1511. I'm trying to continue upgrade the site using the built in "Updates and Servicing" tool. After running the prereq, I keep getting a failed message below. Now I checked my Default Client Settings for the NAP and it has already been enabled.   Not sure what I'm missing here but can anyone shed some light to this? I feel like it might be a simple answer that I'm overlooking here.   Thank you in advance.

    CMCB 1610 Cloud Proxy Service

    By teamfox201,
Hello,   I am looking for some clarification on setting up the Cloud Management Gateway in SCCM. We have a primary site (managing about 6000 clients) and about 80 distribution points at small offices with 3mbps or less WAN speed. We are looking into managing remote machines that are not in the office and the Cloud Management Gateway looks pretty promising.   The question I have is, do we need to set up another primary or just another DP (like the small office config) but with the MP, DP and

    By anyweb,
So a new day, and another release of Windows 10 Insider preview, with lots of changes to the operating system including improvements to Edge.     When I started my Surface Pro 4 this morning I was greeted with the usual 'your computer was updated...'. After logging in I noticed issues straight away in my web browser of choice (Firefox), it was having problems scrolling (scroll bar down action didn't work 9 times out of 10). I tried Edge, same issue so not my browser, Next I tried to play ba
