GWX (Get Windows 10) cancel button - We knew, that we had gone too far
By anyweb,
Microsoft has had an amazing year, pushing out several builds of Windows 10 and Windows 10 Insider Previews and many other software releases such as Windows Server 2016, Configuration Manager Current Branch (and Technical Preview releases) and SQL Server 2016. All those achievements are amazing in their own right.
However to the mainstream user, the Windows brand itself, embodies what Microsoft is to that user, as it's the operating system they use day in, day out.

Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2687455) 32-Bit Edition SCCM Deployment
By GHaMNoob,
Hey Guys,
Having an issue with some windows patching via SCCM 2012, it appears that KB2687455 is showing as 'Not required' on over 500 of my clients and im not sure why.
Just curious to know if anyone has seen this before? Image attached below. I have ran a report within SCCM and confirmed we have quite a few clients with versions below 14.0.7 so it is a required update.
Thanks Guys!

Failed to download content id. Error: The system cannot find the file specified
By wudevr,
I have a CM CB Server in a disconnected environment (No Internet).
The WSUS server I use to download the updates bit the dust and I've rebuilt it choosing all the same Products and Classifications as before. The export ran successfully. I then copied the WsusContent folder from the WSUS server to the CM server as I've always done. Then I ran the import of the exported CAB file as I've always done. The import completed successfully. I then Synchronize software updates on the CM server. I then cr
1610 Issues deploying Windows 6 x64 to Newer Dell Laptops
By RoTheOne,
Hi guys,
First up it is Windows 7 not 6, that would be a trick...
We have an existing OSD that works well with our older laptops but which randomly fails without on screen error with our newer Dell Laptops (7370 and 5570). I have injected the correct USB3/Nvme drivers into our windows 7 installation wim and if I build a simple task sequence that only installs window, the dell driver cab and sccm client then I get a successful finished build with the client and drivers all working nicely.

Client Installation Failing (GPO and Manual)
By FubsyGamer,
[RESOLVED, SEE POST BELOW]
Hello,
I am having an issue manually installing the SCCM Client on a handful of workstations.
I have it pushing out via GPO, as well as installing during my PXE task sequence.
The GPO worked for about 90% of the workstations in my environment, but it didn't for a handful, so I decided to just go do it manually on those workstations.
It worked for me perfectly on the first one I tried. However, every one after that, it will not install.
Please se
Win 10 Servicing - 1511 Client compliant for 1607 Feature Update
By RLC-Andrew,
I have a "Windows 10 Servicing CB Test Group" collection that I manually drop clients into to begin the servicing update to 1607. Update is required. I have previously used this (say, over a month ago).
I have a Surface Pro laptop that "winver.exe" shows as having 1511 10586.679.
The Config Mgr Client version (recently uninstalled/reinstalled) 5.00.8412.1007
In the deployment status, after running a "run summarization" ... this client shows as "compliant".
Essentially, when trying
