Issue with .net 4.5.2 Patches - 2008 R2
By duberry_wotsit,
I have some Server 2008 R2 clients which when running an online check against Windows Update are missing a number (12) of .net updates.
One of these, for example, is KB2972216.
According to WSUS kb2972216 was superceded by KB3188744, however KB3188744 is not applicable to 2008 R2. It is for Vista/2008 SP2. Because of this supersedence kb2972216 is no longer available to deploy from SCCM so the 2008 R2 boxes remain unpatched. There is no Security and Quality rollup for .net 4.5.2 on 20
WIM image not updating on the distribution point
By nazimb,
Hi,
We are currently running SCCM 1606, and have a mix of Win7 and Win10 images.
The probleme is the updated WIM file is not being updated on the DP, there is no error message, it shows up updated time stamp, however the image is not updated and keeps the same size.
I'm thinking to delete the current image from the DP then distributing the new one
Have you ever seen that before?
SCCM WSUS Error 80244019 (Client install)
By Edenost,
Hi All,
I just wanted to drop a quick message to let you know about an old error I came across this morning when configuring the client install through WSUS.
After installing WSUS and the SUP on my Server 2012R2 install with SCCM CB, I was getting error 80244019 from the Windows Update client on the client machines.
After some investigation, I found that the "Content" directory within IIS was inaccessible by IIS.
I could manually reach it by going there myself, or using the run comm

I'm worndering if anyone has this setup as I'm running in some issues. Setup. 1. Created a BiosPassword.bin file from the password configurator - works 2. Created a package in SCCM with the required files 3. Created TS step to set password - BIOSConfigUtility64.exe /npwdfi
Install timeline
By Edenost,
Hi All,
First of all, apologies if this has been answered somewhere already. There is just such a vast amount of information about System Center on here, it's difficult to find something as specific as this I believe.
Anyway, I am an Infrastructure Engineer at the moment, tasked with installed SCCM 2016 along with SCOM 2016.
The company I'm working for currently (just started with them) have nothing really in place for remote/DC management or monitoring (hence installing SCCM and SCOM).
