Canned Report - Computers for a specific user name

    j1mmyd3an
    By j1mmyd3an,
Hi there, I've run into an issue with the canned report for "computers for a specific user name".  When I run the report I can only see a partial list of the users in my organization.  I thought it was related to my discovery configuration but my generic "All Users" collection is a complete list of all my users.  I created a query manually using info I found online and it gives the same kind of results.  The query returns results on some users but not all.  This leads me to believe that SCCM has

Hello, I have some concerns about my SCCM environment and I hope I can get some help resolving them.  Some info about my setup first: ConfigMgr 1706 Single stand-alone primary site - Site server is 2012 R2 and also has MP and DP roles - Remote DB server is 2012 R2 and SQL Server 2014 - Remote WSUS/SUP is Server 2016 - IBCM server is 2012 R2 and has MP and DP roles We've been using SCCM at my workplace for over a year now and have been slowing transitioning into it from K

    Features on Demand and SCCM

    senseiTX
    By senseiTX,
I'm having a hard time wrapping by head around how machines are supposed to get content for adding features in an environment with SCCM.  I know I can apply a group policy that sets a the Repair Source to a network location but as I understand it, enabling the Windows 10 Features on Demand product on the software update point should make those files available in SCCM.  Is the WSUS\SCCM source only used when I want to push these features to new machines via Software Updates?  Do I still need to m

    SCCM Defender Fallback Source

    jtomren
    By jtomren,
Hi   I have a question about the Fallback Source for definition updates. I have set “Updates distributed from configuration manager” first and next “Updates distributed from Microsoft Malware Protection center” (MPC). Definition updates from SCCM are installed every day as expected when a computer are on an internal network, but when I set a computer on a external network it does not fallback to MPC after the AuGracePeriod is over.  In the registry I notice that the following is set: I

Odd issue - SMS provider is there but isn't.

    By Kevin79,
I am trying to decommission an old server that was a DP. The SCCM console says it is in SMS Provider (see attachment) but if I run the powershell command to list SMS Providers, it doesn't show up (see attachment). I can't remove the server because SCCM won't uninstall the Component Server from it. How do I get rid of it? I've tried the solutions https://prajwaldesai.com/error-while-removing-the-component-server-role/ and http://paulstather.blogspot.com/2015/06/sccm-2012-removing-old-site-system.

    Applying Image Failure Error 80070002

    krdell
    By krdell,
I have my operating system set to deploy by accessing content directly from the distribution point because it is obviously faster.  Yesterday the apply image step in my TS started failing across all hardware.  The only way it will work now is to switch to download the wim 1st before applying.  I am not able to see anything in my logs that indicate a problem.  Any advice?  My logs are here: https://tinyurl.com/y9fgw55l https://tinyurl.com/y76lzb8w

    User pop up notifications

    Elad
    By Elad,
Hi Guys, I'm sure this question was asked more than one time ... I'm looking for an option to have massage pop up windows to notify users about pending reboot. Does someone has any experience with it? Currently, WSUS is not integrated with SCCM, just looking for a way to notify them. Thanks!
