  2. Hello to everyone! We have a lot of small remote offices in our company with expensive and slow Internet —Āonnection. So I need to install sccm clients in offline mode, because it will be difficult to download client package from my sccm2012 server. Is there any methods to offline client instalation?
  3. Hi Guys, My company is in the process of a big data centre consolidation project. We currently have a new domain (in which sccm 2012 is setup) and we have 2 legacy domains. When I perform a client push installation to any box on the new domain it upgrades the client (previosuly 2007) and assigns itself to the new site no problems. However when pushing the client to machines joined to the legacy domains, the setup runs but after completion it fails to assign to the site. In the logs it states Failed to get site version from AD with error 0x87d00215. If I manually uninstall the client the push install again it picks up the site and everything works successfully. Boundaries are setup correctly with necessary boundary groups assigned. Does anyone have any idea why this would occur and why the upgrade doesn't pickup the site code on first hit? The push installation properties specifies the sitecode, MP and FSP. Would I need to update the AD schema on the legacy domains for the boxes to find the info it needs? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Niall.
  4. I've been trying to get the client to install on a machine that is in a workgroup. It fails miserably every time with the following error from the ccmsetup.log File C:\Windows\ccmsetup\{59A0EA77-D28C-4286-83A6-04BB57B9CDD6}\client.msi installation failed. Error text: ExitCode: 1603 Action: CcmSetObjectSecurityInit. ErrorMessages: Setup failed due to unexpected circumstances The error code is 80070534 What am I doing wrong as the client push account is setup to use a domain account and localhost\administrator. Any help would be appreciated.

  6. Hello all, I've got an issue that I was hoping you all could give me some insight into: I've attempted to create an installation package that can be used to install the SCCM 2012 client, but it seems that it always feels the need to download the prerequisites and "client.msi" using BITS from the Management Point instead of using the files I've provided locally. I'm using this command for my installation: ccmsetup.exe /source:"[PathToFiles]" /mp:[MPName] The first part of the installation "Downloading ccmsetup.exe to "C:\WINDOWS\ccmsetup\ccmsetup.exe" works great, but the part where it adds files to the BITS job is trying to download from the Management Point instead of the files that are definitely there. Even if I install the prerequisites it still downloads "client.msi" from the Management Point. Any advice?
  7. Been trying to install sccm 2012 client on our production systems. we are using only a few systems direct with no success. We did not have any issues in our test environment. The ccmsetup.log on the systems states the following: <![LOG[MP 'SCCM2012P01.allegisgroup.com' didn't return DP locations for client package with the expected version. Retrying in 30 minutes.]LOG]!><time="16:33:06.236+240" date="10-25-2012" component="ccmsetup" context="" type="2" thread="19588" file="ccmsetup.cpp:9604"> been trying to determine what is meant by client package with the expected version means. Both the domain we use is on systems as local admin and the site system account is in a group that also has local admin rights. the domain account is what is used. the ccm.log on the primary site indicates the systems are found, using domain account. copying source files, starting ccmsetup, etc and then moves to the next systems in the collwction. the error encountered was one system was off the network. no other errors are indicated, but the primary site must be acknowledge unsuccessful installs, because the installs keep trying every 30 minutes. Done for day, hopy be then someone has an answer. Thanks
