  1. Yes you can do it, I would try to do it using the OS name or maybe the Computer manufacturer.
  2. Error 53 = The network path was not found. So.... check DNS.
  3. I recommend that you post this suggestion to the Connect.microsoft.com site. This is the only way it will get fixed. I would also post the link back here so that others can vote it up.
  4. Yes that is what Peter is saying. If you want snow you should come up my way! ;-)
  5. This data will show up under the v_gs_network_adapter_configuration SQL view. so you can do select * from dbo.v_GS_NETWORK_ADAPTER_CONFIGURATION
  6. This information is not collected by default and therefore you need to inventory it first.
  7. Sure you can do this, write a script to add the computer account into your AD security group. Then run the script during the TS.

    Hardware age report

Keep in mind that I work for Enhansoft. Therefore my view is slight biased. ;-) The question you need to ask is, how accurate do you want your results? Warranty Information Reporting (WIR) will give you accurate results. My PCs warranty on started on May 16, 2013. If I used the BIOS date, my warranty started on Sept 24 2014. That is 496 days AFTER my warranty started. If I look at the OS install date, my warranty started on Jun 19 2014, that is 399 days after the real warranty start date but almost 100 days before the BIOS date, How do you explain that to a manager?!?!?! So how accurate do you want your results? If you ever want a demo or have questions, let me know and I will do my best to make sure that I’m the one doing the demo.
  9. This is going to happen with one of three reasons, Software Inventory is not enabled (and IMO it should never be in the first place) After your site restore you didn’t fix up clients You site restore didn’t work. I’m not sure how you restored a site without a back up!
  10. In CM12, those items are inventory by default, you need to enable them in the client setting.
  11. The column to add for user name is sys.user_name0 to your query above.
  12. Your best bet is to contact 1E, support. They will tell you exactly how to do it in a supported manner. Correctly me if I'm wrong but Nomad can be configured to use a percentage of the network bandwidth.
  13. Divide by 1024 to get MB/GB.
  14. No idea why it is not installed. Have you looked at the logs file to file out why?
  15. Look at your screen above notice that you have yet to install the CM12 client on that computer. Notice it say Client No for WP06i002
  16. Did you notice that WP06i002 is not a CM12 Client yet. I would look at fixing that.
  17. It is not a silly question, I use too many acronyms. ;-) BIDS = SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio. It is similar to Report Builder but I has a bit more functionality.
  18. There is no trick to this. You need to create a custom report (I recommend BIDS), which in the case is your dashboard. To make it useful make sure you included drill downs to show details for the data. For example you can create a dashboard like this http://www.enhansoft.com/blog/new-system-center-endpoint-protection-scep-ssrs-reports-webcast, then drill down to another report detail report.
  19. So what you try to use the report above to do what you want then? There are lots of examples on my blog of queries with collections.
  20. This will help you. http://www.enhansoft.com/blog/how-to-perform-a-full-hardware-inventory-for-a-pc-collection-the-easy-way
  21. Is the MP listed in the log file the correct one? If it is then you need to re-check your CM12 client package and ensure that all the setting are correct.
  22. The error say there are no DP available. Have you deploy the CM12 client to your DPs? Have you enable the Failback option on the package?
  23. For SQL issues, you should contact Microsoft support directly for support. Editing the database is unsupported with CSS help.
  24. Client push is perfect it doesn't need the AD container. As to why client push is not working look at the ccm.log to find the error.
