  1. It will be updated based on what every you have setup for your heartbeat discovery.
  2. But why? Exactly what problem are you trying to solve? how does disabling MSE help you? How is this post different that your other post? http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/11509-preventing-the-microsoft-antimalware-service-to-start-automatically/
  3. Why do you want to do this? What problem are you trying to solve?
  4. This query will find all x86 version of Adobe Acrobat and it use HW inventory to return the data. The report you are looking at use AI data. So you are comparing apples to oranges.
  5. Nothing like that exist. The query that you ran, what is it? All of the AI data will be returned via HW Inv. you can troubleshoot, HW inv using this blog. http://be.enhansoft.com/post/2013/07/25/Troubleshooting-Inventory-Flow.aspx
  6. Direct Access is your best bet to solve this problem.
  7. And BTW this blog can help you install CMTrace on all computers. http://be.enhansoft.com/post/2014/06/19/Using-SCCM-2012-Application-Model-to-Install-CMTrace-File-Version.aspx
  8. BTW if you are CM12 you shouldn't be using Tracer32. Instead you should be using CMTrace, which is on your site server already.
  9. Why don't you just download it directly from MS site? This way you are sure that it is virus free.
  10. No there is no way to solve that. Disk space is cheap so this is not generally a problem.
  11. Yes, they are within the CM12 docs. Have you looked at them and what is unclear with them?
  12. First I wouldn't move SQL to a remote server. This will be no end of headaches. Second create a new server with new name and new site code. When you are ready, point you clients to the new server.
  13. You can't but you can that but you CAN receive an email using SSRS and you can send it Daily/weekly/monthly.
  14. https://patchmypc.net/ is a cost affective solution for most companies.
  15. There is no public info about this, what exactly are you looking for?
  16. Keep in mind that you can't just convert form Enterprise to Standard, there are issue with doing do. Also keep in mind that ONLY SQL standard is licensed with CM12, not Enterprise.
  17. These queries will get you started. http://smsug.ca/search/SearchResults.aspx?q=ou+
  18. I have no idea what you are looking for. Based solely on the question that you pose the report called All resources in a specific collection, will give you exactly what you have asked for.
  19. The ones listed under Software Distribution - Collections
  20. Err that is going to be based on the collection that the ASR is targeted too. So what wrong with using the built-in reports for this info?
  21. You will need to restore (rebuild) your site to before R3 was installed and yes you will loose all those features. BTW there was NO client for R3, the SP took care of adding all the R3 features so you will be fine. However you will need to at a minimum force all clients to re-send a full inventory.
  22. IMO, you don’t need to setup CM12 just to test your setup. For learning yes, you need a CM12 lab but if you only want to test your setup then no there is no need for a CM12 environment. Since this is a x64 vs x86 issue. I would create two VMs, one x86 and x64, Windows 7 or Window 8. I would define your test plan first. Something like: Using the local System account only. Run the Setup on x86 PC using x86 CMD Run the Setup on x64 PC using x64 CMD Run the Setup on x64 PC using x86 CMD Which system are having problem? Why not have two setup one for x86 and one for x64?
  23. Hi Niall, Based solely on their posts, there IMO is no indication that they want to learn about app model. So why complicate matter and setup as CM12 lab for "nothing", particularly if there is no need to do so? The app model will NOT affect how their application will install (which is what they are looking for), it will only affect which deployment type is used to "install their application". We are also assuming that their are using the app model vs packages/programs. From what I have seem most 3rd parties are using packages/program in order to keep backward compatibility with CM07.
