How to Make SUP to Download Updates from Internet
By Gonzalo,
Hi everybody,
First of all, thank you so much for all the information available on this site in order to understand and master on the SCCM adventure.
We have a new request because our partner has their primary site in AWS and they don't want to replicate all software updates from AWS to their local DP every single month. We would like to know how we could setup their environment in order to download all software updates from Microsoft Update directly to their DP. How could this be done
Win 10 OSD TS failed on installing application
By JSong0824,
Hi everyone, it's so nice to meet you all!
I have run into some problems on a Win 10 OSD Task Sequences recently and am wondering whether I could get some advises. Here's the background for our environment, we have SCCM 1710 installed on a primary server with a DP and I have been having success deploying Win 10 version 1709 through Task Sequences until now. Lately my colleague reported the TS stopped working and returned a generic error 0x80004005 when it was trying to install an applicatio

Deploying W10 1803 x64 issues
By xerxes2985,

Scenario: Windows 10 ADK 1803, SCCM CBB 1802, build and capture TS, OS Deployment TS.
I did a build and capture of Windows 10 1803 CBB (64 bit), I then added my newly captured image, and slipstreamed the updates into the image.
Upon Deployment of said image, the image gets deployed but steps in my Task Sequence fail to run.
There are these errors (I assume related to "Install Updates" TS step)
Failed to find property 'WUfBEnabled' in 'CCM_SoftwareUpdatesClientConfig' class defintion.
Download security updates from Microsoft instead of the MP
By Arti,
how direct access users can download updates from microsoft instead of MP?
when you deploy the software update group, it downloads the updates to the MP. Therefor "If software updates are not available on preferred distribution point or remote distribution point, download content from Microsoft Updates" will always be available and will never download from Microsoft Updates. Correct?
SCCM Network Information Report RDL?
By Darryl,
I am looking to acquire a report that will contain basic network information by collection e.g. IP, DNS, WINS, etc. I have been learning how to use report builder but have been failing when it comes to creating this specific report, just curious if anyone has something like this that they would be willing to share or point me in the direction on where to obtain a decent rdl.
Thanks.

Windows Update/Defender Update Button Functionality
By jfdensmore,

Hello everyone. I have a question about the functionality of these buttons. So I want SCCM to handle all Windows and Defender Updates and I have SCCM CB 1802 distributing Windows and Defender updates. But when i click the Check for updates button in either locations on a windows 10 client all i ever see is either the image below, or an "Updates are up to date".
My question is.... are these buttons useless while using Sccm now? Also how can i confirm my devices are actually pulling End point
