  1. What is wrong with the built-in reports for this? Have you tried to edit them to give you exactly what you want?
  2. What is wrong with the built-in reports for this?
  3. Honestly unless you have 150,000 computers, you shouldn't be creating a CAS. Also, you should be install CMCB and not CM12 as it is already old.
  4. If your CM12 admin can see the PC within minutes, it mean that delta updates for the collection that you are limited to seeing computer for has not been enabled. Ask them to enable delta updates to the collection.
  5. It will be the local system account, which in all but super rare cases will have 100% access to all folder and files. Was the install originally installed by the user? if so that path it wrong.
  6. ok, maybe I need more coffee but what is unclear with the error message?
  7. You will need to review the logs as to why it is not installing. it should only take a few minutes to install. Are you sure that you program is setup correctly?
  8. I hate to say this but there are no trick to this, just deployment.
  9. If all you want is to review unwanted software titles, then what is wrong with the existing, ARP reports for this?
  10. Are you a full admin on the site? Do you have Deploy rights to the collections?
  11. What you are asking for is almost impossible. Why you ask? Well that is because there is an avg of 186 SW title installed on each computer. This would mean that you will have to compare at 186 titles, If you have more than one model of computer you will need to add the SW titles for that model too. Then at least each month you will need to update the list as titles and versions are updated. This will be an never ending battle. So what should you do instead? You should create a report that will compare two or more computers can list the differences. Something similar to this. https://www.enhansoft.com/blog/comparison-of-installed-software-is-february-2017s-free-configuration-manager-report
  12. This can be done by using the System Type attribute within the System class, this coupled with the Caption name within the OS Class is all that you need to do this.
  13. Do anyone of those account have logins?
  14. Keep in mind that it is recommend to access the reports from the web interface and not via the console as there is less overhead. Plus do you really want to give someone the console just to view reports? Also keep in mind that if the web interface doesn't work then neither will ConfigMgr
  15. Neither application nor packages, will use your credentials, therefore there is no point in looking at this. At best it could be related to Network access account but that would be used for all deployments not just some.
  16. And you should look at Patch My PC too. But my original question still stands, what is wrong with your current 3rd party patch catalog for wsus? if it works in wsus, it shodul work in CM, so....
  17. and what is wrong with using the same ones you used for WSUS?
  18. It might work, try it but honestly I have problems with some SMB servers used as package shares.
  19. Are you sure, that the computer is talking to the mp? Is your MP healthy? Have you tested it?
  20. It is time to contact CSS directly for support, they can work with you to solve the problem.
  21. No, Why do you think it is not a boundaries issue?
  22. I'm not following you, please post a screenshot.
  23. The account does NOT require admin rights that is for sure.
  24. So did you enable remote errors like it suggests? https://www.enhansoft.com/blog/turn-on-remote-error-reporting
