How to set default wallpaper and allow change by user
By Siroj,
We are going to use SCCM to deploy Windows 10 v1607 to about 5000 devices. A script is written to detect the monitors resolution and copy a matching wallpaper to the device.
What we want then is (preferably using GPO) to set this wallpaper as default to our users on first login and allow the user to change the wallpaper.
We know we can set a fixed wallpaper using GPO, but that is not what we want/need in this case. If i use GPO Preferences to create the items Wallpaper and WallpaperStyle under
How to configure PXE Boot option for SCCM without DHCP bootp option (066+067)
By shakha,
We have legacy and UEFI clients.
We are able to PXE boot either legacy BIOS or UEFI BIOS based clients but unable to PXE boot both at the same time .
Currently SCCM is working with DHCP bootp options(066+067).
Our DHCP server and SCCM server are in same VLAN but clients are in different VlANS.
For this purpose we have configured an IP helper on Cisco-3750 switch, pointing towards centeral DHCP server.
On DHCP server we have configured bootp options ponting towards SCCM server.

Hello guys,
we have a problem with an Automatic Deployment Rule in our SCCM CB 1602 environment.
This rule is for our Windows 10 Enterprise clients, but we get an error during distribution.

Upgrade from SCCM 2012R2 to 1511 keeping same SQL instance
By Gael,
Dears,
I have "SCCM 12R2" running on Server "2008 R2" and my SQL 2014 running already on "2012 R2".
I have to do a side-by-side migration for SCCM, for sure.
My question is: Do something will happen to my current SQL instance? or Do I have to create a new one? or Is the migration for the instance automatic during the process of Side-by-side?
Thanks for your great help.

PXE boot issue with 4011 port error
By lmccormick1922,
Hi all. Having issues with one specific PC model. Bought some used desktops for my lab as I'm somewhat new to SCCM and trying to learn it.
I am only having issues with the Lenovo ThinkCentre M57P - 6071-AB3. I have several thinkpad models and HP laptops that work just fine as well as VMware vSphere VMs that are working fine; just these desktops are throwing the " cannot contact port 4011" error.
I do not have DHCP options specified, which are what most articles seem to point to.

Advice for rolling out SCCM for the first time
By FubsyGamer,
Hey guys,
So I am rolling out SCCM and OSD. I am learning this totally from scratch, so it's kind of a long road. The tutorials and help guides in this forum have been a HUGE benefit, so let me thank you for that.
My questions are more procedural at this point. I have SCCM set up, and I've followed every step in the SCCM 1511 deployment guides on the forum. I have my Windows 10 x64 image set up and have tested PXE booting, which works perfectly.
So now...how do I go about this whole
Windows 10 version 1607 and Servicing Plans does not show me updates
By keywan,
Hi everbody,
my Servicing Plans do not show me all updates of Windows 10 version 1607. I see there only Updates of Windows 10 version 1511 and Feature update to Windows 10 Enterprise, version 1607( all language). Any Idea why? I have changed the Title and Required, but no change. My Deployment Ring is CB.
Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14915 for PC and Mobile
By anyweb,
It’s been a busy few weeks here in Redmond. Last week, we had engineering reviews where each team presented their plans for the next few months to make sure that the customer scenarios we want to deliver are all prioritized appropriately. It was great to see all of the Windows leaders in the same room and the energy and excitement about this release was obvious by some of the live-tweeting that went on during the week. You will see the results of the reviews in the builds that will be coming out
