  4. Hi, If you have WDS and DHCP on the same server you must change which ports WDS responds to have you done that? it is discussed here: http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1434-wds-error-and-dhcp-problem/ Regards, Jörgen

  6. Hi, Are there anu errors in the System status on the site server? anything in the event log? I would start by checking that BITS is working on the IIS server and that no firewall changes are made. Regards, Jörgen
  7. Hi, You need to use a sub-select query when you query for computers without a specific software. http://blogs.msdn.com/b/muaddib/archive/2008/10/10/sub-select-query-the-holy-grail-of-sms-collections.aspx

  10. Hi, I assume you are using Windows 7, are you using the Copyprofile=yes setting in the unattend.xml file? of so the administrator profile is copied as the default profile at deployment time, that could perhaps be the issue. Regards, Jörgen
  11. Hi, The Countdown timer is the way that SCCM 2012 handles reboots from updates, the countdown timer you are seeing from WSUS should actually be disabled to not have any unexpected reboots in your environment. JAson has written a great blog post about this. http://blog.configmgrftw.com/?p=89 Regards, jörgen
  12. Hi, it is normally related to drivers, is it the same if you deploy another computer model? Regards, Jörgen
  13. Hi, I haven't tried running MDT 2012 U1 on my Windows 8.1 actually but I would assume that you need to run MDT 2013 to get support for not only deploying Windows 8.1 / Server 2012 r2 but also using MDT.
  14. Hi, It is probably a combination of your variables from UDI and MDT, try changing it to: <InputLocale>%Keyboardlocale%</InputLocale> < SystemLocale>%UserLocale%</SystemLocale> < UILanguage>%UILanguage%</UILanguage> < UserLocale>%Userlocale%</UserLocale> Naturally, just changing the above variable name won't work, but then I went ahead and changed the line that I was supposed to comment out in the UDIwizard.wsf from this: oEnvironment.Item("UserLocale") = oEnvironment.Item("InputLocale") to this: oEnvironment.Item("UserLocale") = oEnvironment.Item("UserLocale") have a look at the complete post here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/16570dfc-c11c-4049-9529-1a51c867afcd/mdt-2012-udi-language-problem?forum=mdt

  16. Hi, When you use WSUS integrated with SCCM it doesn't download any content to the the WSUScontent directory you should actually download it from the internet, and the Deploymen Package source should be a unique folder for each package. Regards, Jörgen
  17. Hi Used-Space only is a new feature in Bitlocker avialable inWindows 8 and server 2012. You can use it in Windows 7 if you use SCCM2012/MDT 2012 Update and encrypt the drives that way. MBAM is a part of MDOP, Desktop Optimization Pack, wich you can downlod from the Microsoft Volume Licensing site or MSDN/Technet subscription for test. Regards, Jörgen
  18. Hi, I would put the command in a .cmd file, and use the %~dp0 variable which Points to the current path including a trailing backslash. In your example above putting the below text in a command line should Work fine. Setup.exe /s /path:"%~dp0config.txt" It will read the config file from the DP share directly or from the client cache based in your Deployment setting. Regards, Jörgen
  19. Hi, That is correct you cannot use wildcards for tasksequence variables, I would suggest that you put it in a script instead and do you logic there and return a task sequence variable based on the result. Regards, Jörgen
  20. Hi, I Always use a driver package per computer modell and use a WMI Query in the Task Seqeunce to determine which driver package to apply. Regards, Jörgen
